ABOUT YOUR HOST

Barbara de la Torre, MD

I started Third Opinion MD as a way to spark a wave of change in the way we practice medicine and how we care for ourselves.

As a second-generation integrative physician with knowledge of a more holistic model of care, I’ve come to love both types of medicine because each has the strength to overcome the other’s weaknesses.

However, I believe we can evolve to a much higher level of care by integrating a broader perspective of health.
